Design Plus powered by Light+Building and ISH

The Messe Frankfurt fair and exhibition company launched the Design Plus award, now an internationally recognised seal of quality, in 1983. Design Plus honours products and applications distinguished by outstanding design, functionality, innovation and technology. On the occasion of ISH and Light+Building, the products submitted by exhibitors are judged by a jury of experts in accordance with the following criteria: overall concept, utility value, technology, ecology and design. The Design Plus is organised by the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung). At ISH and Light+Building, visitors can see the award-winning products in a special exhibition throughout the fairs. A catalogue, which is published on the occasion of each fair, can be ordered from the German Design Council.
